Viktor-craft is a block-based sandbox game developed independently, built using Python, Pygame and OpenGL without relying on a pre-existing game engine. Inspired by the freedom and creativity of classic sandbox games, it lets you explore a world, gather resources, construct buildings and experiment with different mechanics.

Explore, Build and Create

Discover a world made entirely of blocks. Mine resources, collect materials and use them to build your own structures. Whether you want to create a simple shelter or an elaborate construction, the world is yours to shape.

Crafting and Exploration

Gather resources and turn them into useful items through the crafting system. Use furnaces to process materials and expand your possibilities. Explore the world, experiment with its mechanics and discover features such as portals that allow you to venture into new areas.

Save Your Progress

Your creations and progress don't have to disappear when you leave. Viktor-craft includes a world-saving and loading system, allowing you to return to your worlds and continue building whenever you want.

Play Together

The game also features LAN multiplayer in Creative Mode, allowing you to connect with other players on a local network and build together.

Made from Scratch

Viktor-craft is an independent project developed from the ground up in Python, using Pygame and OpenGL. From the rendering and world systems to crafting, saving and multiplayer functionality, the game represents a personal journey into game development and the challenges of creating a sandbox experience without a traditional game engine.
